Barbers Football Banter = Foolishness!

I'm writing this in the cold, central heatings gone off!!

The day started well, in the trying to avoid football sense. I asked my colleague how last night went, meaning a work event and he responded we lost to Liverpool. Goes to show how much football dominated our conversations. The event I was asking after went well. If you were wondering!

Somebody new started reading the blog yesterday and got what it was all about. She needs to catch up though. She said she read two and enjoyed reading them! You can become a follower if you like!

When football banter becomes silly. Football is guaranteed to be a topic of conversation in a barber shop. I had a trim this evening. First one of the new year, got a party tomorrow. The barbers were talking about how many of their current squads had Premier League Medals and Champions League Medals. It was a joke because they were counting medals players had won whilst playing for other teams! Before I got there I gather the Arsenal fan was saying to the Liverpool fan how many Premier League titles have you won? None is the obvous answer. But he must of said that Glen Johnson has one! So what?? He certainly didn't win it with Liverpool!!!

The Liverpool fan must of said how many Champions League medals do Arsenal players have? You'd never guess the response- One! The living joke. Check the answer - Mikael Silvestre!!! These guys are not serious.

I'm almost certain that Glen Johnson never received a Premier League Medal with Chelsea and almost certain Silvestre never got a champions league medal with Man Utd. Can someone check it out and let me know?
