I was asked twice, if not three times last night, how the challenge was going. One was asking whether I had seen the Tottenham v Leeds match, and the other stating that Man Utd had a good result! Will I ever be able to avoid the game?? It's almost like its following about the place.

Even today, I was asked if I had seen the goals from the Tottenham v Leeds match. NO, I haven't!!! I told you I haven't watched or followed any football this year. I had to tell the individual that if he wanted to continue the conversation we'd have to talk about Current Affairs as I know nothing about football from the beginning of the year! I had to tell his wife, to tell him, that I can't talk about football! I reiterated the point that I gave it up to try new things. He reckons he can try new things and still follow football. I said that I couldn't.

Totally random! Do you know when the Insurance companies ask you how many miles you drive in a year and if like me you select the least thinking that you'll get a lower quote, well at the begining of the year I set my mileage reader to '0'. Just to see how an miles I do drive in a year, currently with one week to go in January the clock reads 850+
